At the end of the season all the houseboats and lighters were strung together for the towback to Warri. The Argena did the towing. It took 8 or 9 days and was a laugh a minute. There was a lot of drinking and various mishaps.

Centre: One evening when we were parking up for the night this tree came through the bar windows. Unperturbed, we carried on drinking.
Right: We awoke one morning to find the whole shooting match up on the beach.
